GSS Contracts are a leading refrigeration, air conditioning & electrical/mechanical engineering contractor. We are delighted to be associated with several well-known retailers as customers of ours and are recruiting a Service Supervisor who will fit in to the team in terms of ability and attitude.

 

You will be supported by an experienced Refrigeration Service Manager and will have the opportunity to further enhance your knowledge and skills under the direction of our Technical and Training Manager.

 

 

The role

 

• Repair and maintain refrigeration equipment.
• Supervise the team, being their daily point of contact, providing first line management support, guidance, training and development to colleagues to achieve a consistent and high level of customer service.
• Provide technical support and training to Refrigeration Engineering staff.
• Carry out site audits and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Lead the team in delivering high quality PPM work.

 

Experience Required

 

• Experience in Commercial and Supermarket retail sectors
• Time-served engineer with industry qualifications.
• F-Gas accreditation.
• Hydrocarbon accreditation.
• CO2 qualification is preferred (Technical training will be provided).
• Driving licence essential
• Flexible to work outside normal business hours and overtime as needed.
